History

Costa Café got started in the coffee business in 1985, in a town called Albertina, south of Minas Gerais State, located in the Serra da Mantiqueira area which is renowed for producing fine coffees with peculiar characteristics. Costa Café implemented a strategy that combined integrating the small coffee producers of this area and organizing them to be prepared for the international market. Advanced technologicaland structural supports where provided for the development and improvement of coffee growing and preparations through all the stages they comprise. It was this smart strategy that led Costa Café to achieve its main goal: to que capable of offering products with the hightest quality standards.
Today, Costa Café owns two modern coffee processing mills located in the towns of Albertina/MG and Espírito Santo do Pinhal/SP. Both installations are equipped with automated machinery of high technology and capacity, and the result of these can be seen every season in numerous containers full of bagged coffee or bulk loaded with the green beans going directly to Santos Harbour, and from there to the world. The "Producer - Company - Importer" integration, together with the thechnological developments and a lot of professional work has been showing total success and efficiency throughout the many years. Costa Café is now present in all the main fine coffee growing areas of Brazil and, most of all, exporting its products to the most important coffee markets worldwide.
